Short version: 2AM doesn't set any cookies. No advertising pixels, no analytics, no tracking of any kind. This page explains what the site does keep in your browser instead, and why it's different.
None. Not one. There is no advertising network on this site, no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no session-recording tool, no A/B testing service, and no third-party marketing tag. Nothing on this site is trying to work out who you are or follow you somewhere else.
Cookies get sent to a server on every request. This site uses local storage and session storage instead — data that stays in your browser on your device and is never automatically transmitted anywhere. It's used for the parts of a shop that literally cannot work without remembering something:
| Key | What it holds | How long |
|---|---|---|
2am_cart |
The items in your bag, so they're still there if you close the tab or move between pages. | Until you check out or clear it |
2am_consent |
Your answer to the notice at the bottom of the screen, so it only asks once. | Until you clear site data |
2am_last_email |
The email from your last order, used only to show you relevant pieces next visit. | Until you clear site data |
2am_order / 2am_decline |
Your order summary, passed from checkout to the confirmation or decline screen. | Session only — gone when you close the tab |
Three services are loaded from outside this site. None of them set a cookie here, but they do receive a request from your browser, which means they can see your IP address:
There is currently no analytics on this site at all — no visitor counts, no heatmaps, nothing. If a privacy-respecting, aggregate-only analytics tool is added later, the notice at the bottom of the screen will ask first, and nothing optional will load unless you say yes. Declining will always be a real choice that actually blocks it, not a button that does nothing.
You can clear everything this site has stored at any time through your browser's "clear site data" or "clear cookies and site data" option for 2amcases.online. Doing that empties your bag and makes the consent notice appear again — nothing else is affected, because there's nothing else.
Browser settings that block cookies won't break this site, because it isn't using any. Blocking local storage entirely will stop the bag from remembering items between pages.
If anything on this page stops being true — particularly if analytics gets added — the date at the top changes and this page gets updated in the same breath.
